Since the beginning of August 2023, the National Human Rights Defense Network (RNDDH) has noted an increase in violence in several areas of the West and Artibonite departments, including Carrefour, Carrefour-Feuilles, Croix-des-Bouquets, Delmas, La Croix Périsse, Savien, Solino, etc., resulting in numerous murders and gunshot wounds.
Concerned by this situation, RNDDH wishes to alert public opinion to the lack of action on the part of the Superior Council of the National Police (CSPN), which systematically ignores the many calls for help from the population in distress.
