The National Human Rights Defense Network (RNDDH) is mainly concerned with the inaction of state authorities in the wake of the country’s deteriorating security situation, particularly in the West Department.
Indeed, since May 2023, RNDDH has noted an upsurge in acts of violence against lives and property and the perpetuation of several armed attacks and shootings in which people have been killed or wounded by bullets.
