1. Alternative Resolution of Conflicts in nonviolence
This topic helps participants master methods and techniques which will help addressing in nonviolence some conflicts, disputes or quarrel occurred between two people or two groups of people
2- Haitian judicial system
This topic helps participants understand the Haitian judicial system, its components as independent legislative and executive branches. They will learn the main legal redress (habeas corpus), etc..
3. The National Police of Haiti / General Inspection
This topic addresses the role of Haitian National Police, its operation and the various bodies it is made up of and how detention facilities work (persons in police custody). It also addresses function of the General Inspection, its role in police work.
4. Prisons(DAP)
With this topic, participants learn all about Haitian prison system, particularly techniques and methods which will help to document violations committed by DAP officials as well as judicial authorities.
5. Human Rights Protection system
With this topic, participants become familiar with the environment, main instruments of human rights protection, protection bodies, ways and means of national, regional and international legal redress
6- Surveillance
This topic helps participants understand techniques and methods which unable them differentiate human rights violations from offenses, can make a documentation (investigation) on them, write a report, denounce abuses committed and make advocacies at national and internationally level
7. Gender issues / Women Rights protection in National, Regional and International context
With this topic, participants will become acquainted with various instruments of Women Rights Protection and existing measures, at national, regional and International level
8- Human Rights of Children
Developing this topic will helps beneficiaries understand children’s rights, various steps towards codification of specific rights of the child and instruments which guarantee these rights.
